The dramatic, rich markings left by charcoal appear in the earliest primitive cave painting of early humans, which are believed to have been drawn with charcoal created from burnt sticks. Throughout the Renaissance, most artists used charcoal to prepare their panel paintings or fresco murals, and many used charcoal in their drawing studies. However, some masters used charcoal alone or with chalk and ink to create stunning masterpieces.

Try your hand at sketching with charcoal & learn the various techniques to understand light & shade in a sketch.

As always, canvas and art supplies will be taken care of. Amateurs, beginners & non painters all are welcome, no experience in drawing and sketching is needed. And the best part? You get to carry your sketch home!

We are conducting sketching workshops on all Saturdays , Interested candidates can contact us and register there names.
